a week ago, i would've gotten a Lyft, and the reasoning would've been that the ~1/2 hour difference between waiting for next shuttle and simply paying to go to work... is worth it. it's all about time, the exec would say. a short-term loss here, an overall gain there, is worth it. now I'm just like, what just happened, oh well, let's chill out for the next twenty minutes and wait for the next one!

checking my mailbox. i still have to write a letter to my friend :) funny how a little foreign language takes you places far away, reminding you of the flavors of the technicolor present
